Elaine Henderson moved to live in the Borders from Stromness in Orkney which is where she originally set up Scapa Studios, workshop and gallery. Her work was influenced at the time by the geology, weather, archeology and landscapes of the islands. She is now developing a new range of colours, textures and forms inspired by the Borders.

 Julia creates unique and fabulous sandblasted designs on handblown 24% lead crystal bowls. Her studio is at the nearby Hirsel Centre For Arts and Crafts and is well worth a visit but an appointment is recommended if you are travelling especially to see her.

Multi-talented James had an early career as a musician, touring with well-known Ska bands. He is an interior designer who curates a large private art gallery but mainly he devotes his time to painting.
